Coaching Skills

Objectives:

  • To understand what coaching is and what it isn’t
  • To be convinced of the effectiveness of coaching as a way to enhance performance
  • To learn how to develop people
  • To develop the confidence and skill to include coaching in your day to day management
  • To be more confident about dealing with difficult performance issues

You Will Learn:

  • How to deal with sceptical team members
  • How to plan and carry out coaching
  • Enhanced ability to use key coaching skills e.g.: listening, questioning and giving and receiving feedback
  • How to ensure real ownership, by individuals, of their targets
  • Tools and techniques to motivate and inspire
  • How to customise your approach to suit each individual
