Confident and effective trainers are critical for the development of core competencies together with personal and business skills within the workforce of all organisations. This three day course develops core trainer competencies and provides a range of techniques that trainers can immediately use to improve and enhance the results they get.
The course has been designed for new and experienced trainers who have not received any formal Train the Trainer training or who need a refresher.
It is available as part of our open programme or may be run as a dedicated group event.

Course Aim
To introduce participants to methodologies and techniques of training design and delivery.
Learning Objectives
Each day consists of practical experience as well as hundreds of useful tips. While the first part of the course focuses on the design and structure of training as a learning tool it then moves on to presentation, delivery and facilitation, each day builds up to a complete training methodology.
By attending this course, participants will learn how to:
- Implement effective training solutions
- Identify training needs
- Define training objectives
- Design engaging courses
- Deliver training sessions with confidence
- Embed learning and boost memory retention
- Evaluate training interventions
- Manage training practicalities
Style of Course
The course is delivered in a format to engage all learning styles and to stimulate changes in behaviours after the course. Typically this involves a mix of trainer lead insight, delegate participation, team activities, practical exercises and learning reviews.
Our trainers are experienced in creating positive learning environments where participants feel comfortable in sharing experiences and practicing skills.
Course Details
The duration of this course is 3 days. 9 am – 5 pm. There will be a maximum of ten delegates.
