Individual Learning Accounts Scotland (ILA Scotland)

ILA Scotland is at the heart of the Scottish Executives Lifelong Learning strategy. It is a high profile initiative which you may have seen advertised through the TV and press.

So what does it mean for me?

*** Earnings Limit Raised to £22,000 for the ILA 200 scheme***

The aim of the ILA is to target funding to those earning £22,000 or less who are normally resident in Scotland and wish to take up a course of learning that is approved for the scheme.  The ILA Scheme helps to develop learning and skills for those normally resident in Scotland.

If you qualify as above you may be eligible to receive funding up to £200 per annum towards the cost of training.  There is now no minimum payment required and the lower age limit has been reduced to 16 years old.

Most of our training courses appear on the ILA Scotland database and would be eligible to receive such ILA Scotland funding.

For more information please call 0800 220454 of email edinburgh@pitman-training.net.

You can search for approved courses on our website or by visiting the ILA website. Alternatively full details can be obtained from ILA Scotland by calling free on 0808 100 1090.
